We’ve decided to run with the Icelandic tradition this year, and in Christmas Rve each one of us will get a book and some chocolate and enjoy a snuggly night in.
DH, Ds and myself are sorted, but DD age 21 has no clue what book she wants.
She is 21, not a massive reader, and currently has depression and anxiety, so I wouldn’t want any themes that might be triggering.
She particular hates any stories that feature sad endings with animals.
Any suggestions? I seem to remember light hearted romcoms were very enjoyable back in the day.
