To what extent would you put up with neighbours noises ?

Halls of residence... about 300 flats if not more plus two blocks of about 200 flats or so . Very quiet at night as mainly mature students or exchange , or young professionals ...

Neighbour has taken to having very , very loud sex . Tonight she was actually screaming with it . I can hear her through my window being closed - no idea where she lives or how close to me she is but it’s loud and carries on for a good half hour each time . Walls are pretty thin ie I can hear upstairs neighbour opening their door and can hear them walking around but this doesn’t seem fair as it’s not necessary ? S/he could be quieter !

Would I be daft to go to accommodation office ? I can’t think of anything they could do short of sending out a mass email or something , given I can’t identify the flat and I don’t suppose anyone would want to confront her anyway .

I honestly couldn’t care less that she’s having sex , if it was music I’d feel exactly the same ! Just fed up with it now , it’s all hours of the day and night ...

Not a troll btw , zero interest in other people’s sex lives just wondering if it’s worth complaining about to accommodation office !

Has anyone else commented? Can you put up a passive aggressive note somewhere it will be seen to shame her into being quiet? Sounds awful. Yes, I would probably send an email to accommodation people.
