We've discovered the existence of "swear fingers" lately - well... we know that you can do something vaguely rude with two fingers and so we're grassing up our sister every time any two digits go in anywhere near a vertical position.

Reminds me of one dinner time, my youngest DD said she knew what the C word was. The look on my face must have been a picture because her slightly older brother quickly shouted, 'she means crap mum, she means crap'. Cue DD saying 'is there another C word?'!!

Apparently there was a C word but DD couldn't remember it.

DD thought for a long time that the S word was Stupid.

DS was desperate to tell me that he had found out what the F word was. It was Fart!

We had a big discussion about context yesterday surrounding ds2 calling something bloody and other kids telling him he was swearing. He was legitimately describing something blood covered. We also talked about how our neighbour might call his old bitch an old bitch but that when applied to people this is considered a swear.

My 9 year old dd on the bus going to swimming told her friends that when she was grown up she was going to say fuck and shit. Her friends were quite shocked and told her teacher. I was told about it and banned her from swimming for 2 weeks
