Trying to be debt free

Hi all. I am sure this has been done to death but I need ideas on how to make extra cash to pay off some debts. Things that didn't get paid as I was made redundant and have struggled to find another job. I have paid as much as I can and have cut back quite drastically which has helped. I have sold quite a few things on ebay. And have other things on there but they just haven't sold so will try him tree and facebook. I do online surveys and make about £5 a week which I am using to pay off my credit card which is very nearly clear.

Can anyone suggest anything else I can do to make a little bit of extra cash. I am at home with 3 kids all under 6 and dh works from 11am to 11pm so has to be at home. Can't be ironing as that would take too much time and I'm not good enough to charge people. Can't baby sit as have my own to look after. I haven't got any skills per say.

I can carry on as j am and should be debt free within 6 months as long as I carry on the way I am. But if I can get there quicker that would be great.

We ready buy the bare minimum. Meal plan freeze left overs etc. I pay things with any spare cash I have even if it's pennies.

I am guessing there's not much else I can do but to carry on.

I don't know but any ideas would be great.

Also credit is shot so no chance of getting a 0% c.c to transfer to and pay monthly.

Matched betting. Look on team profit £25 to £1000.

Oh god won't that get me into a worse situation than I am in now....!

I started matched betting last week for similar reasons...I'm up over £30 in 5 days.

I'm not sure if that's going as well as it should be as I am winging it slightly and only have limited time to engage with it at the moment but I'm certainly not losing anything. It's definitely more profitable than doing surveys.

I used Save the Student matched betting guide to get started but thete is loads of advice out there and on MN if you're interested in giving it a try.

Match betting isn't a quick thing once you've done the new sign up deals. You then get accounts closed as the companies are hot on spotting match betting and you really need to work hard at it to make money past the startups. Not to say it's not worth doing, just it's not an easy money making plan long term.

My brother has just been doing Amazon deliveries. He got paid £150 for delivering in a 4hr slot (he did all his deliveries in 3hrs apparently). Might be worth looking into (not sure how he found it), if you could deliver in the mornings while DH looks after the children (presuming you have a car).
