Racist bullying video - Almondbury Community School

It's just horrific, made me cry.

Apparently, the incident happened in October and the attacker was only excluded on November 20th, how can that be ? The other kids just standing around doing nothing or sniggering.

The poor little guy already with his wrist in a cast, apparently as a result of a previous bullying incident. His sister also the victim of persistent bullying, although it is not clear if it was at the same school.

The headmaster of that school needs to hang his head in shame and resign. What kind of student culture is he allowing / accepting at his school.

Do Ofsted take these kind of incidents into account when evaluating a school ?

I have seen a Facebook post where the mother of the attacker is named and shamed as already having a racism case brought against. I guess her son doesn't have much of a chance with a home background like that.

However there is no excuse for the school to turn a blind eye and only react when it mainstream media.

Its completely horrifying isn't it.

I don't know any of the background but can't say it shocks me.

FrogFairy · 28/11/2018 15:15

Horrific. Poor boy and his sister must have already been through so much and thought they would be safe here in the UK.

In my limited experience - one child but plenty of bullying, the schools find it easier to fob off the victim and their family than to actually do anything to keep pupils safe. I soon learned that “We will keep an eye on the situation” actually meant “We will do fuck all.”

Patroclus · 28/11/2018 15:44

I've felt so angry and ashamed about it all day. And then people in comments saying 'is the gofundme to pay for their ticket home?' and 'its not political'. We're reaching a crises point in this country, apologism for this stuff has gone too far.

carnitine · 28/11/2018 18:14

OMG, those disgusting comments, what is happening to society.

It’s incredibly sad. There’s also a video going round that seemingly shows his sister being physically attacked as well. My heart just breaks for both of them.

Brahumbug · 29/11/2018 07:23

It is absolutely dreadful. I don't however see why it is racist.

Patroclus · 29/11/2018 09:32

Beause the attackers mother and brother have both been done for racist crimes and he idolises Yaxley-Lennon and far right fascist groups like the EDL?

You can always tell the "Tommy Robinson" -not his real name- EDL supporters on here because they come on with this two sides to every story line, although funnily enough that side is never reported. Maybe because it's bullshit?

Applesbananas · 29/11/2018 14:05

The boy who attacker the other boy is still a child and doesn’t deserve trial by social media. Neither does the school.

MulderitsmeX · 29/11/2018 14:06

Huh Rabbits?

So awful and sad. Unfortunately I wasn't surprised as have seen on MN posters' kids having these things happen and schools just glossing over it. All kids should be safe at school :(

Zero tolerance should mean just that on bullying.

lovetherisingsun · 29/11/2018 14:06

It's awful. The secondary school near us is the same, full of nasty older kids who don't give a shit and who are never, ever, brought into line.

This is his sister being attacked. You're talking shit Rabbit. Im so fed up of people like you making excuses. I dont think you people realise how widely the far right are despised, especially by the mostly decent younger people coming up. You certainly arnt the heroic patriots you like to see yourselves as. its all going to come to a head soon.

It's a lie Rabbits. Step away from the EDL Facebook page.

TheFairyCaravan · 01/12/2018 17:49

That's bull shit Rabbits. Tommy Robinson has apologised for starting that rumour after being threatened with legal action from the boy's family. The mother of the girl whose face did get bitten told Tommy Robinson the Syrian boy wasn't involved and to take it down but he deleted her comments and ignored her.

TroyKing · 01/12/2018 18:12

Not quite the innocent family are they?

The 'Isis' sign and a rifle hung on the wall. N

More budget Tommies on here. I despair of how bigoted the UK has become.

Patroclus · 02/12/2018 03:25

ZebraOwl · 02/12/2018 05:19

Patroclus
I’m struggling to spot an “ISIS sign”, too. And I don’t think it’s because I’ve not got my glasses on Hmm
