Spotify premium account for teenager

I was thinking about sorting out access to Spotify Premium for DS(14) for Xmas (he currently has the free version, which he finds frustrating, particularly as he's unable to listen offlline). Does anyone know if it's possible to sort out an individual account for him, but which I could pay for, and, if so, how? I don't want to have to set up a family account - it would just be for him. Thanks!

Do you pay his phone bill? Mine is paid with my phone bill

I've never tried signing up to spotify, but do you not simply register his details, but your payment details?

Phone his mobile network provider and see if you can add it onto his bill (assuming you pay for it)

That's a great present for a teenager btw op

Yeah, you should just be able to set up an account for him and he is the only one that downloads/logs in. If you have the Spotify premium as opposed to family, just one or maybe two people are able to log in and download stuff to listen to offline, so you should be able to pay for it and then set it up to his email.

Agree that it’s a fab present btw. My teens love it! (And so do I)

As someone else said. Just register an account for him and then use your own bank details to pay the monthly subscription. I do this for my SD.
