I was wondering whether anyone has had any experience of this before? My right ankle feels like it's swollen, although you can't see any swelling when you look at it. If I wear socks/tights/jeans/boots it feels like it's exploding out into them and they feel very tight. If I've got bare feet/legs then it still feels swollen, but not as restricted.
It does hurt, around the ankle, on top of the foot and up the back of my calf.
I have been to the Doctors on numerous occasions about it, as it's been feeling like this for just over a year now. I've had blood tests for DVT and all came back clear. I've now been referrerd to a podiatrist as the last Doctor I saw didn't know what else to do.
If I wear my winter boots to work I either have to walk around the office with the right one unzipped to relieve pressure, or put up with my ankle feeling awful all day.
I just don't know what to do, it's always uncomfortable, often painful but no one I've seen has any answers. My podiatry appt might be the solution, but it's not for another 3 weeks so just grasping at straws to see if anyone else has any ideas!
Thanks in advance.
