What shoes would you wear with this?

I've tried attaching a picture but it wasn't working. so I've posted a link instead;

What shoes would you wear with this dress? I've bought it for my work Christmas do, we're having a meal in a lovely restaurant and then probably going out a few drinks. I was going to wear nude tights for the tiniest bit of warmth but that means I can't wear open toe shoes. I'm not sure a court shoe style would suit. Any suggestions?

You could wear anything with that, it's lovely! I'd personally go for sparkly silver court shoes or nude heels, I think any style would go 😊 have a great party!

I was looking for some fluffy sandals but can't find any :(

Haha next ones down but I realised this doesn't help the tight situ...ditch the tights, have a shot before you leave? Confused

Shmithecat · 27/11/2018 12:57

I'd wear 40 denier black tights and black shoe boots/ankle boots.

Mulberry72 · 27/11/2018 13:07

I’ve got this dress, I love it! I’m wearing mine with black patents DM’s on Saturday night with a black leather biker jacket.

Not to everyone’s taste of course 😊

BaaRamU · 27/11/2018 13:08

grincheux Thank you! It's lush isn't it? It fits so well though and the material is lovely. Really wasn't expecting it seeing as it's so cheap.

Fashionista101 I love both those options - thank you for taking the time to reply Smile I love the suggestion of a shot before I go as well!

Shmithecat I was originally thinking boots but more tall, chunky ones sort of in a 60s/70s style but was interested to hear what other people thought as well. Thank you for the suggestion Smile

Mulberry72 that sounds like an amazing combination. I was thinking it looked easy to style in different ways. Unfortunately I think on this occasion the restaurant is a little bit too fancy for DMs but thank you for the suggestion. I'm sure you're going to look ace on Saturday.

Leopard print

firstbrightday · 27/11/2018 14:03

Don't buy from shein - they are SHOCKING quality and pretty much impossible to send back- they try to get you to keep it and then when they eventually give you the address the postage costs as much as the item was.

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira · 27/11/2018 14:12

I’d wear tights and biker boots probably. Or flat black shoes. I don’t do heels even if I’m going to be sitting down.

BaaRamU · 27/11/2018 14:50

LovelyMommy78 Thank you 😊 I definitely think a metallic colour is the way to go

peppogirl I hadn't considered leopard print but that would work really well, thank you 😊

firstbrightday oh no really?? Luckily the dress fit perfectly so no need to return but will bear that in mind for the future.

BloodyMary75 those are very cool! Unfortunately a bit too casual for this particular restaurant but I'm saving that link for the future. Thank you!

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira (love your username!) I think biker boots may be a bit casual but black flats are an option. I thought about black tights but wondered if it was all going to be too dark.

The dress is lovely but is it really really short? I’m thinking of ordering it but not if it’s basically bum length!
