Help from a Lego fan please!

I have bought my husband the Harry Potter castle Lego set for Christmas. He will have to build it in the spare bedroom away from the baby.

What's the best thing to use as a base for him to build it on? Something that he can move around when necessary, but not daily.

Any suggestions appreciated!

My husband uses big planks of wood to build his Lego models on. His are usually much bigger than the Harry potter castle though.

You can get folding board things for jigsaw puzzles - might work and be a bit more appealing than random bits of wood

Thank you both. Found a jigsaw board that will be the perfect size!

You can buy base plates from wilko... Their version of Lego is called Blox and works fine
