I know I am being super unreasonable but its 2am, I can't sleep and i'm feeling grouchy.

I am super fortunate to work in a place where you can work from home if your sick (or have a sick day which is paid) yet the same people keep coming into work sick.

As a result I now have a horrendous cold and feel like I have a ton of shit on my chest. I'm 29 weeks pregnant so I can't take anything for it and my pelvic floor muscles are struggling with every cough and sneeze.

Why just why? Just feckin stay home

If they can work from home with no consequences then i presume some do take up the option.

However most people work through coughs and colds, unless a fever etc people tend to just get on with it as otherwise winter would be very fun in most workplaces.

Very different to coming to work with a sickness bug or contagious rash etc.

A cold isn’t a reason to stay home from work.

Spreading your germs to everyone else isn't being a good employee; it culls everyone's productivity (if you want to look at it mercinarily).

However, being offered the chance to WFH if sick and that actually being acceptable are often different.
