Some people are really silly.

I keep seeing people putting things that go off in the donation thing at the supermarket. Things like bottles of orange juice etc. Why? They sit there for a while I’m sure, or are they emptied fairly often? I’ve seen milk as well.

I think they mean well, perhaps just assuming the produce will be whisked away promptly.

Their hearts are in the right places.

I see Sainsbury’s are going to start labelling produce that is suitable. Good idea as it also raises public awareness too.

I don’t doubt they mean well. Just thought it was odd. Didn’t know about Sainsbury’s doing that. Be good if it helps.

I saw one the other day with a sign attached asking not to put out of date or fresh food in. People mean well, they probably don't understand the timeframes.

Probably just thoughtlessness.

It’s a shame if they’ve not thought to pick up some of the long life orange juice or UHT milk rather than the fresh stuff.
