That's the daftest thing I've heard.

I don't eat meat , dairy or eggs but eat fish.

How can you call yourself vegan and eat fish.

I've never seen a cod planted in soil beside spuds and carrots or picked a haddock off a tree !

Did she describe herself as vegan? Have you heard her say that?

I'm guessing it's because cows and chickens are sentient, fish aren't (well, not in the same way) and the dairy industry is horrifically cruel. I'm not myself, but I get why she is.

Yes one the one show. She doesn't eat meat , got an allergy to dairy but likes to eat fish. So she is a pesca vegan.

She didn't!! She was using those words to explain easily what she eats! She knows it's not a thing, she actually said so.

It sounds perfectly rational to me. My daughter eats veg, fish and wild hunted meat (when she can get it). She basically has a problem with eating farmed animals who have led a horrendous life.

She said she isn’t vegan by choice but due to allergy.

Personally I think the way a fish dies is much more cruel than the humane killing of cows, sheep or pigs. If I were to be a vegetarian I would not eat anything that was sentient. I totally respect the wishes and dietary requirements of vegetarians..... but I’m not one myself.

She's using it as shorthand to describe her diet. She's basically a pescatarian with a dairy allergy.
