I was just wondering, is it me?

I think I get around 2-3 a year... max.

Do lots of people use the PM system?

Biners me neither. Suffice to say we're boring af. Hurrah!

spiderlight · 26/11/2018 15:16

Same here. I've just looked and I've had 19 PMs since 2015.

Bluntness100 · 26/11/2018 15:17

I get a few and there are a couple of posters I chat to. I also get odd ones, where i suspect if I've been busy and not posted for awhile, someone is checking if I've been banned or not, 🤣

generally other than the occasional odd ones, they are pleasant messages and from nice posters.

MadisonAvenue · 26/11/2018 15:17

I rarely get one so it’s not just you Wink

StormTreader · 26/11/2018 15:20

I think I've had 4 or 5 in the last 6 years, mostly all at once relating to a health issue I posted about.

Nissemand · 26/11/2018 15:48

I think I've disabled them.

If it can't be said out in the open, I'm not interested really.

DiaryofWimpyMum · 26/11/2018 16:00

I used to get them but haven't had one for a while. I'm not sure it notifies you on the mobile app

JustWhatINeededNow · 26/11/2018 16:02

It doesn't notify you in the app. So I rarely get any.

TheFaerieQueene · 26/11/2018 16:02

I get a couple or so a year. I don’t care one bit. I don’t send them either!

BaitandSwitch · 26/11/2018 16:03

I've never had one. I did send a PM once and never heard anything back so I thought I had commited a faux pas (or the MN member felt they were being stalked) - so I won't be doing that again!

RatRolyPoly · 26/11/2018 16:08

I used to get them quite frequently when I posted on particularly contentious subjects quite regularly; they were always lovely, I really appreciated it.

I send them occasionally myself but only really if someone's getting a hard time and I think it's unjustified, or to thank someone for something they've said on a thread.

RaspberryRipple1963 · 26/11/2018 17:12

Good job I RTWT! When I read the title,I thought you were talking about premenstrual syndrome! Blush and Grin

BarbaraofSevillle · 26/11/2018 17:54

I get hardly any and I don't really want any TBH. I get a feeling of dread when I get them in case they are abusive or someone has recognised me, but thankfully the few I have had have been innocuous and/or nice.
