Eeeek! New slow cooker!

My trusty old steed died a death yesterday so I've ordered myself a new, smaller one.

I'd love to fill it with yummy goodness so hit me with your fave recipes.

And also, any cooking tips gratefully received... I always find my chicken or other meats dry out... I don't know why.

I wish you would have ordered an Instant Pot! It's one of the best things I have ever purchased!

A friend recommended those but there is no way in this world would I spend £70 on something I don't often use. Even if it's the best thing ever

Wishes I had saved up and bought an instant pot now!!

Yesterday I put a small joint of beef in mine. Put in a small dribble of water and melted a stockpot in it , the liner of mine lifts out to use on hob. Added red wine, tomato purée, Worcestershire sauce, mixed herbs, bay leaf, pepper and a pinch of dried chilli. Put it all in medium for 6 hours and turned it halfway through. It fell apart and was amazing.
