Breast Augmentation

I have mine booked for next month to correct asymmetry/tuberous breasts, and will be having implants over the muscle.

If you've had a BA - do you have any tips or recommendations for recovery?

I had under the muscle so might be a bit different but would suggest you have painkillers ready by the side of the bed for the middle of the night - just because getting in and out of bed without using arms is very tricky! Keep the surgical bra done up very tightly to reduce swelling and have a few days lounging around. Things got much easier after the first 4 days.

Thanks Ruler. I'm on my own for the first week or so but then will be managing with 4 year old dd on my own - is this going to be doable? Starting to panic slightly!

I would have though so. The first 4 or 5 days were definitely the worst. After that there were just certain arm movements that I had trouble with. By two weeks I was totally fine just had to avoid heavy lifting. If you are going over the muscle I would expect that you will recover even quicker. Good luck!
