Lovely cake boxes - help!

Can anyone help?

I am making a few Christmas cakes this year- mostly for family and friends and want to make them look really lovely.

I saw some beautiful cake gift boxes at a food fair yesterday but no idea what you would call them or where to find them.
Imagine a square base, then a sort petal shape on each side, draw the four of them up together and tie with festive ribbon. Some were Kraft card and others were white with a gold print.

Does anyone have the faintest idea what I am talking about? Got my heart set on them now! I did message the stall holder but perhaps understandably hasn't got back. I'm no commercial threat - think I am making 8 in total!

Was it something like this? goo.gl/images/gZBVxD

That's the idea but flatter - the base was proportionately much larger.I think the flaps had holes in them so you could thread the ribbon.

They had box kits in Debenhams. Not so fancy petally but v stylish. I'll see if I can find a link.

I'm always on the lookout for nice packaging but I can't see these in my usual haunts, OP. I know what you mean, though, I think. Like the ones here?

Would you be prepared to have a crack at making them? Shouldn't be too difficult with some nice cardstock?

Rich what a great link. Thank you!

I’ve also made Christmas cakes as gifts and that pattern looks ideal @Richelieu thank you! I am definitely going to give that a go!

I've only just noticed there was a downloadable PDF for those boxes but the link seems to have expired. Doesn't matter though, the good thing is you can quite easily make the boxes any size you want.

I think I'll have a go too, they'd be useful for wrapping awkwardly-shaped things!
