I met my new bosses boss and completely fucked up

I don't think I can go back to work now

New bosses boss being shown around the offices. Boss brings him into ours and introduces the nurses and then me (not a nurse)

Boss says 'oh they're like a little gang in here and NGBTW is their leader'

He says 'oh really why's that'

And don't fucking ask me why because i've asked myself a million times since, I said

'ON WEDNESDAYS WE WEAR PINK'

WHY that came to mind I don't fucking know. Colleague was wetting herself at her desk, he just stood there staring at me blankly, boss is looking at me with a mixture of what the fuck did you just say and confusion.

God I'm never going to live this down

@birdieinthehand, nah she wasn't being sly I don't think! We seem to be the only office in our unit with any staff morale left, we all stick up for each other and help each other out. Maybe she was being a bit sly though!
