Do I need a bra?

Not sure if this is better suited to style and beauty, so feel free to move!

I am going to a fancy Christmas do and am wearing this dress. Does it require a bra? What kind? Is there something that will be low enough to not show?

Please help, I am hopeless and live in t-shirts and jeans.

Do I need a bra?

Are you wearing a bar in this picture? How low is it at back?

eternalopt · 25/11/2018 19:10

*bra!!

Sazquatch · 25/11/2018 19:10

It looks fine when you’re standing still. Depends how much, um, bounce you have when you walk I suppose.

Beautiful dress I should add

DammitOedipus · 25/11/2018 19:11

No bra in the photo, slight bounce, not too bad. I am worrying it may be cold though... It is also a V back, fairly low.

Yes because the top part looks like it’ll reveal a lot if you move round or bend down. I’d go to M&S and try on a variet of bras with said dress

hugoagogo · 25/11/2018 19:13

I would, you do look amazing in it as it is, it's just that I imagine there would be movement.Blush

Thiswayorthatway · 25/11/2018 19:17

What shoes are you wearing? It can affect your posture

misssjw · 25/11/2018 19:18

I'm just here to say you look incredible in that dress!! Wow!

SuperLambBananas · 25/11/2018 19:19

You look fantastic! The cut is perfect for you and it looks like the fit is great without a bra.

I'll echo what the others say though, it's movement that might make one useful.

Do some normal movements in front of a mirror, or film yourself, and judge from there. Dancing, drinking, waving, squatting for a dropped something etc. Rehearse the night!

PinkHeart5914 · 25/11/2018 19:20

Yes I think a bra is needed as you’ve got a fair sized pair of boobs!

The dress Looks very good by the way 😃

HJWT · 25/11/2018 19:27

TIT TAPE 😂

CatAndMice · 25/11/2018 19:28

Definitely. Things won’t be like that when not standing for a photo. Anyone over a/b looks better with a bra.

craftinglife · 25/11/2018 19:29

Can I just say, you have incredible boobs! Mine would be dangling like porridge in a sock if I didn't have a bra on with a dress like that. EnvySmile

AnythingConsidered · 25/11/2018 19:30

Where is the dress from?
It's stunning (as are your boobs!) & would be great for a Ball I have on February!

And yes I would wear a bra, but that's because I would be terrified of falling out!

I think a plunge bra might be the shape you are looking for. If you know your correct size you could order a few plunge bras online to try with it. I like Freya ones that are non-padded.

Littlefrog99 · 25/11/2018 19:53

You don't need a bra in my opinion, double sided tape will stick your dress to your skin if you want to make sure there will be no accidental flashing of flesh. That dress looks great on you.

TheDogAteMySock · 25/11/2018 19:54

I love the dress, it looks amazing on you. Standing like that, I don't think you do need a bra, but you may feel more comfortable in one because of movement,

DammitOedipus · 25/11/2018 19:56

Thank you everyone! You have all made me feel awesome. I will take the advice here and find a bra with the dress to try.

The dress is from Little Black Dress online!

Wow! Love the dress and you look great in it. You don't look like you need a bra for support but it depends how much wobble you've got going on.

Orchidflower1 · 25/11/2018 19:57

Yes I think a bra for movement / possible flashing. Dress is a gorgeous colour btw.

ohdearmymistake · 25/11/2018 21:43

Wow your boobs are like that without a bra? < wail > I'd have to kick mine out of the way.
Fab dress, boobs and figure but yes to a bra.

Lellochip · 26/11/2018 15:55

If you can't find a bra that doesn't show at the back then have a look at Perky Pear tapes - something between a stick on bra and a giant plaster lol, gives a surprising amount of support. Obviously not as much as a proper bra but doesn't look like you need it to be honest!

Unless you're planning any particularly enthusiastic boogeying I'd say you could get away without - have a shimmy in front of the mirror and check? Grin

Perfectpanda11 · 26/11/2018 15:59

I want your boobs. Gorgeous dress that looks fab on you.
