Do you collect parcels from your neighbour right away?

Two parcels left next door I've just got in now. Would you leave it until tomorrow? Don't really know her that well.

Why not just go now?

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 25/11/2018 18:59

It’s not late enough for that to be an excuse-
I wouldn’t go after 9pm

Badbadbunny · 25/11/2018 19:02

Yes, I go straight away to collect. You really don't want to become "that neighbour" whose neighbours won't take in parcels for you because you can't be bothered to go and collect them.

Bananacentral · 25/11/2018 19:05

Yes I’d go straight away, unless I knew they had a baby that might be in bed or it was past 8pm....

greendale17 · 25/11/2018 19:05

Yes I collect straight away unless it is after 8pm

DeadCertain · 25/11/2018 19:05

Yes unless very late - hate to think I am inconveniencing them. They often bring them round as soon as they see me get home anyway and I do the same for them.

thenightsky · 25/11/2018 19:06

Yes. Go now.

I live in a small close of three houses and we all send kids over for parcels as soon as we get home.

poppyseed2 · 25/11/2018 19:07

On the rare times our delivery people bother to leave a note, I go straight round provided it's before 9ish.

MiddlingMum · 25/11/2018 19:33

We don't collect as we all take them round instead - about six houses who all get on really well.
