HELP! Going to the shard for a meal no clue what to wear!

Hi everyone my partner organised a date at the shard but have no clue what to wear thinking if a dress but do I go long or short??

Long dress might be a bit OTT if it is just dinner.

Depends what you mean by long. I have bought some long midi and maxi dresses from the high street recently which are not formal and can be dressed up for dinner or worn with trainers for during the day.
