Exciting question. What colour kettle should I buy?

I know, I know the excitement is too much.

Kitchen is oak with black quartz worktops. Lime green blind and light coloured floor. It's lovely but a bit meh. I'm not sure I want a lime green kettle and toaster and I definitely don't want black because there's too much of that already. Friend suggested bright red which I'm considering, what would you go for?

I’d go for a lighter colour, the 1950’s cream style to brighten up the block colours of blind & worktop.

I have bright red (matches my toaster).

Lime green kettle & toaster sound great to me with your flooring.

Love the SMEG one but so expensive!

What about this one? I'm pushing the boat out and getting a toaster to match too. Like the idea of lime green but struggling to find anything.

If I had unlimited money I would buy a SMEG kettle. I think they look so nice. I recently bought a Morphy Richards 'Equip' kettle, which I'm happy with - it boils quickly and quietly. I'd go for red in that colour scheme if I couldn't find a green one.

I decided I wanted coloured appliances. All my appliances are Kitchenaid
Kettle-red
Toaster- pistachio
Blender-pink
Food mixer- white

I like the mix of colours

I'd love to but Smeg or Kitchenaid but I can't afford it really. I also like to change the colours every couple of years so if I spent that much I'd feel I had to keep them forever! 😂

My friend has a like blind with fuchsia kettle and toaster. I would never have thought to put them together but it looks fab.

Lime blind

Why not just stainless steel?

ICJump · 25/11/2018 19:45

The right purple/pink would look funky.

Or a pearlised cream colour for a cooler look.

HarrySnotter · 25/11/2018 21:02

I don't really like stainless steel @MrsLettuce.

Have gone for the design I posted above in cream so hopefully that'll look nice. Thanks for the ideas folks. Smile

How about copper? Or cream?

Hello! My kitchen is currently being replaced and I've gone for beautiful calacatta gold quartz worktops and putty coloured cabinets with brushed steel hardware(should have been brushed brass, but the kitchen company ordered the wrong colour snd i couldn't be bothered to wait to change them lol!)
The walls have been painted white as I couldn't decide at the time what I wanted whether it be paint or wallpaper/feature wall etc, but I'm struggling with what colour kettle/toaster and roman blinds to have and also what colour flooring to go for. I've bought grey velvet bar stools and corner seating from Danetti. I'm not sure whether to go for pale grey, taupe or add a pop of colour. I have a candy apple red kitchen aid mixer which I've put in a cupboard as i didnt think it looked right! I'm so indecisive and I just want it finished now, and having trouble choosing is just delaying things. Photos of my worktop and cupboards show my old cream kettle still being used and some Amtico floor samples (next to some cabinet offcuts) which I'm not 100% on. If you've got this far, thanks so much for reading xx
