Christmas Fayre Raffle Etiquette!

Having bought a few tickets for the raffle at this year’s school Christmas Fayre my numbers were pulled out of the hat 3 times. There were some very decent prizes and vouchers to be won as well as the usual array of cheap wine and second hand books! After choosing a decent prize first time round would you have:

-chosen a rubbish prize second & third time
-told them to pick again and give someone else a chance
-chosen the best prize on the table each time

?!? Grin

I would probably have picked 2 prizes I would actually like and use. Not necessarily the 'best' ones i.e to me a £5 box of chocolates would be far better than a £20 candle or spa vouchers etc.

Any more than 2, I would tell them to pick another winner.

How many tickets is a few? And how many prizes were on offer? If you had only bought 5 tickets say and three won and there were only 10 prizes then I would probably stop after two as it wouldn't be fair.

It's school Fayre next week. I've currently bought £32 worth of tickets on behalf of friends and family who won't be at the fair. If many of them win I will be claiming all prizes as they will belong to a number of people not just one.
