Has the recipe for Waitrose Essentials Mince Pies changed?

Anyone know? I used to really like them but someone said they aren’t very good this year.

I wish I knew if the recipe had changed Maybe it's secret like coke/kfc recipes. You seem to be the one with the inside intelligence
However, I did have one and it was quite nice

I neeeed the backstory. Disclaimer: No Waitrose near me so I am not in a position to road test the mince pies :)
