I am getting married tomorrow. So far:

  1. I had my hair cut this morning by my usual hairdresser. I KNOW you shouldn't do this so close to your wedding day, but she has always been fab. She cut it too short.
  2. Heated up some of last nights dinner for lunch and gave myself food poisoning. Have been throwing up this afternoon.
  3. DP has an enormous cold sore on his lip.

I guess we will look back on this and laugh some day. But not today.

The worse it is the more 'lucky' you are.

Your marriage should last forever! Grin

The ironic thing is we are having a very small wedding to ensure it is stress free.

Can you call the out of hours GP to ask for anti emetics to stop you throwing up? Normally the idea is to ride food poisoning out but these are special circumstances...

abacucat · 24/11/2018 15:02

I hadn't thought of that. Great idea.

BrewCake You have my sympathies! But it really will be ok, and you really will look back on it and smile in years to come. Congratulations for tomorrow. I wish you a long and happy marriage. (I'm sure your hair will look amazing!)

Isadora2007 · 24/11/2018 16:16

Don’t take anti emetics. Your body is needing rid of the food you ate so drink fluids and let it do it’s thing. You’ll be fine by this evening most likely.

BlancheM · 24/11/2018 16:54

I would suggest copious amounts of alcohol but the last thing you need is a hangover as well!
Congratulations for tomorrow. Maybe the registrar can say 'you may now shake hands with the bride' instead of kiss Grin
