Notmal childhood bug?

Trying to figure out if this is just a weird bug she’ll get out her system or if I should speak to the gp on Monday.

About 4 weeks ago my 2 year old woke us up in the middle of the night being sick. For about 4 hours she was sick every 20 minutes or so then managed to get some sleep. After a sleep she seemed fine again. I was sick myself the next day so just put it down to a tummy bug.

Same thing happened exactly a week later but this time no one else on the house was ill.

That second incident was 2 weeks ago and now i’ve been up with her since 4am with her being sick. Again, it went in for a few hours, she had a sleep and now she’s fine and asking for food. You wouldn’t know anything had been wrong except she’s a bit pale.

It comes on in the middle of the night, she goes to bed feeling fine and there’s nothing I can think of connecting the times she’s been sick, what she’s eaten etc. This time she had a pretty awful nappy but not on any of the previous occasions. I can’t even begin to describe the smell of the sick though, it’s vile and not like a normal sick smell at all.

Anyone had anything like this before?
