Should I invite my hypochondriac Mum?

DS is turning two next week we have organised a party with cousins and OHS family. I'm not really that close to my family there all dysfunctional drug habits mental health ect!

My mum does not stop going on about her illnesses which she self diagnoses herself with. Currently diagnosed herself with diabetes.

Says she feels like she's dying all the time it's not fun being around her at all. Shall we just do something separate with her?

Good idea.

Also, don't plaster party picture afterwards on social media!

In ASDA you can have a free diabetes test. Call her bluff and take her along.

Don't waste a perfectly decent afternoon doing something separate with her - invite her to the party. Ask someone to 'look after her'.

Don't let her ruin the party
