Ds has one thing on his Christmas list, does any one know about Fifa team of the year

I’d never even heard of it, I’ve spent hours looking for this and I’m not sure it’s real.
Does anyone know anything about it

Fifa team of the year was announced by EA sports as kind of a award ceremony thing. The players are then available to buy on the Fifa game. It isnt a separate game or anything

Is it a game? (For Xbox or ps or whatever he’s got?)

He wants the box in the pictures, it’s from a you tube video, it comes with little cards and a football pitch, and he wants to use it like say play mobile if lego making up little teams, bit all I can find on it is computer games

Team of the year is just a poll run by UEFA, where they name players who would go into their "team of the year"...so Messi, Ronaldo, De Gea etc ....far as I know anyway, but it's quite a "thing" I suppose

He spends a long time watching football videos on you tube and particularly these two boys who often have real life size massive match attack cards and they put them on a football pitch in a formation.
And during one of these videos they had this blue box where you could arrange these football cards, and that’s all he wants, but I have a feeling that really it’s not something that is made for the mass market and is maybe a promo object

According to Google, the boxes were sent to members of the fifa community and various athletes so they could vote on the team on the year players. I dont think they're for general sale. Sorry OP

The boxes were sent to influencers to promote Fifa19 and the Team of the Year released cards. They're not on general sale; although there's a small chance that someone will sell it on eBay - it'll probably be pretty expensive if they do; as FIFA forbid it.

Sorry OP; I suspect you'll need to either recreate this yourself or try and guide him towards something else.

Fifa 19 includes a card game element which is essentially a bit like digital pokemon cards. You can either buy or earn "packs"; who have different footballers in. They did special "packs" to be purchased when the Team of the Year was announced; which each pack being guaranteed to have one player from the team of the year in it. They are all virtual cards.
