What's the weirdest thing your kids friends parents have ever done?

Mine would be when I found that one popped off to do some errands mid an occasion they were hosting and left other parents to host it. That was rather weird... looking back I wonder why I didn't just say no but it dawned on me after the fact

For me it was asking me to keep friend overnight on a Fri. Said sure. No sign of anyone collecting him next day so l texted dm. She was quite abrupt back saying ..we can't collect him we are in Paris but will collect tomorrow!! At no time had she mentioned they were leaving the country.
