If you were on a degree course which you were failing at, would you retake a module (which you can do twice) or take the chance to improve your work in three weeks knowing that if you don't you will only have one chance to result?

What would you do if your lecturers thought you couldn't do it in the three weeks ?

Have you got a tutor? They might be in the best position to advise you.

I have a tutor who thinks I can't do it. I don't know if I can, I thought I could until several lecturers said they were sure I couldn't.

Who is marking the work? If it’s the same lecturers who say you can’t do it than I wouldn’t attempt it.

I think I would take the advice of several tutors who know their stuff!

What course is it? What work do you have to do for it?

How hard have you been working? Have you been giving it your all and not making the grade, or have you been distracted and putting your energy elsewhere ?

Tonight is the first night since the course started that I haven't done any work.

Why are you failing? Is it the concepts? Expressing yourself verbally or in writing?
Or problems with exams?

I assume if you fail at the attempt you have in 3 weeks you can still retake it? If that's the case I'd try personally.

It's the practical side of the course - doing presentations and stuff like that - I'm not confident enough.

What is the marking scheme for the module what grades do you have and how much left on the table?
