Apparently centile are a load of rubbish!

so my HV told me centile are a load of crap.
My son was born 5 weeks early so he's counted back on the charts. Some say until he's 2, others say until he's 1!
He's been all over the charts and today he's 9th (unadjusted) height and 75th (unadjusted) weight. I was worried as the numbers are very different. the HV said don't worry it's a load of shite anyway!

Totally anecdotal, but.. dd was born, put on 9th, dropped to 3rd which was blamed on my inability to breastfeed her properly. Remained tiny for ages - was also early and by 1 was in 6 mo clothes. By 2 skinny but healthy. 13 now, bloody giant. Try not to worry, I know you will anyway, but don't over think it. I did and ended up in a proper tizz. Crystal balls should be delivered with placentas!!
