Instant Pot accessories

I'm getting an instant pot for Christmas so I thought I would get some accessories for it but not sure what to get.

I want to do cheesecakes in it but can I use any cake tin or does it need to be a special pressure one?

What else is a definite get

Thank you

A second pot, probably the ceramic one.

Full disclosure, I don't have an IP, I just want one! There is a silicon cake tin/bread pan I think. That looks good.

I've not made a cheesecake in mine. I would recommend getting a couple of different coloured sealing rings so that you have one for savoury and one for sweet. That way your cheesecake won't taste of curry!

I second getting another sealing ring; I bought a pack of two, one red, one blue so easy to distinguish for sweet/savoury items. I think any cake pan will do, providing it fits the inner pot. I haven’t felt the need to buy another pot, ceramic or otherwise. You might find a steamer basket useful; I didn’t buy one because the one from my stove top model fits. (Stove top pressure cooker freecycled) I’ve not bothered with egg things - I have used the IP for eggs but rested them on the trivet that comes with it. I did buy some measuring cups; many of the recipes have cup measurements and I know I could have converted them to metric/imperial, but couldn’t be faffed.

I've just added to my wish list a set of two rings and a steamer basket, £17ish. And a ceramic pot. I'm pleased!

Did you see the amazon deal of the day, meepmoop?
