Teen survival kit

I read a thread a while back by a poster who made one for her dd's 13th birthday
I can't find the thread so I'm asking for ideas. I need to find a wooden box, one with a lock would be nice but not essential, then ideas what to include
TIA

No help to offer i'm afraid but sounds an interesting idea. Bump.

My then 13 year old daughter’s fave present was a Bobbie Brown skincare and makeup book for teens.

Ha, I thought you meant like survival for a zombie apocalypse, (which I'm interested in for ds). If its just to being a teenager, then a book about being true to yourself and not following the crowd might be good.

You can get sample sizes of stuff on ebay if you want skincare/makeup, or a book to journal how she's feeling might be useful.

Difficult really as there are things appropriate to later teens (condoms, driving lessons, etc) that wouldn't be appropriate for a 13 year old. Make up and social media are the only teen things I can think of that start about that age. But social media doesn't work as a present and would you really want to suggest that she now needs make up to survive?

A bank account with a cash card or Osper account maybe? My DD loved being able to pay for things by card at that age
