Domestic cleaners - how much should I be paying?

I live in Scotland and have been paying our cleaner £10/hr for 6 hours per week. She has been with us for over a year and we are considering raising her hourly rate after new year.

Ours charges us £10 per hour in East Anglia.
Why are you considering putting her wages up? Surely she'd tell you if she wanted to charge more?

I’m also in Scotland and pay £13 an hour.
