Moon hall, Moor House and Fairley House.

Hello. I am looking for a school that can help my dyslexic son who is currently in year 6. Does anyone know anything about Moon Hall in Dorking or Moor House in Farnham or Fairley House in Pimlico? Or can you recommend anywhere else. We're in Surrey but could get into London. I haven't seen any of them yet but I have heard many of them have additional needs which I worry may cause issues for my son socially. My son has an EHCP but it's the lowest funding so we're in talks to try and get it increased. Have any of you managed to get funding for these schools? We will have to pay if not as I just can't stomach him going to a big secondary school where he'll disappear. Thanks.

I have no experience of those schools, but would you also consider The Dominie in Wandsworth? Fees are sky-high, but I think it caters for dyslexia and dyspraxia only.

I have known children at all 3. Must go for a couple of years to get strategies that they can then transfer back into mainstream schools. Most children only have some form of spld (dyslexia, dyspraxia etc) although I'm sure there are some with other additional needs.

Funding is tricky - none I know have got funding, hence the couple of years only! Moon Hall is in a period of change, new head etc, I'm not sure that will make a lot of difference but you never know.

I would also be interested to hear any advice/recommendations on Fairley House.
