Let's play - should I see the doctor about this lump!

Before everyone says "yes you imbecile" it's a weird one.

Just below my rib cage there's a really sore bit, feels like a bruise or maybe the the sore bit around a nasty spot, but totally invisible can't see anything there at all, skin looks normal. But if I poke it really hard, through the padding I can feel a small solid lump that moves when you push is, about the size of a small pea. Thoughts?

Yes. Game over.

I'm in the "yes you imbecile" team.

victoryelf · 22/11/2018 09:51

Yes ALRIGHT. But also can someone tell me what weird but ultimately mundane thing it might be?

taratill · 22/11/2018 09:55

i have similar it's a lipoma. Sometimes it is more noticable than others.

Minniemountain · 23/11/2018 14:22

Did you go OP?

victoryelf · 23/11/2018 14:37

Ahh I'm dithering like a cretin because you can't see a visible lump or discolouration on the skin and it takes so much poking to find it that I'm worried doc will think I'm finding imaginary lumps..

Just fecking go!

Doje · 23/11/2018 14:39

Just bloody go! It's probably nothing. The doctors get to see a whole lot of nothing all the time.

DeezMutts · 23/11/2018 14:40

Just go.

Minniemountain · 23/11/2018 17:39

It's almost certainly nothing but if it is something you want it dealt with. Speaking from experience here.
