Help me buy a laptop!

Dd is year 7 and needs one for homework. I know nothing! What does it need? How much storage/ memory? Does it need intel? (What even is intel?) No idea what I’m looking at. Budget- as little as reasonably possible please!

What is he going to do on it? Homework? Gaming? Streaming YouTube?

Intel is a company that make the processor.

No gaming or YouTube needed. She just wants it for homework. Apparently it’d need word, PowerPoint and publisher?

I would advise using an external harddrive to save docs on to.

Dd has a Lenovo ideapad which is light and neat . Issue is that 32gb memory is quite tight to run Windows 10 and Office so go for larger capacity.
