Amazon music family unlimited and child accounts - help!

I'm in the process of switching from an Apple family music subscription to an Amazon music unlimited family account.

On Apple, child accounts are really easy and DS can log into Apple Music on his iPad and set up his own playlists etc.

But, while I can add a child to my Amazon household, I can't figure out how he'd be able log into the amazon music app and play music, set up playlists.

Do I need simply to set up an Amazon account for him? Is there such a thing as a 'child' account (not the child profile on amazon household - I can't figure out the point of that at all).

Can anyone help or let me know how they work their own amazon family music subscription?
