Sharing this here as hoping to get Liam’s pic out as much as possible.
Liam is 16 years old.
He was last seen at around 12pm on Saturday 17 November 2018 in the Queens Road area of Aberdeen.
Liam is described as white, 6'4" and has short brown hair, slim build, wearing dark top, blue jeans and Nike Air Max trainers and carrying a North Face backpack.

Police are now focusing their search on Banchory.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1302 of 18 November.

So sad hope he is found safe x

strumpetblowingatrumpet · 22/11/2018 14:59

Hope he's ok - everything crossed for a safe return home for him. ❤️

emummy · 22/11/2018 15:06

I'm in Banchory, keeping an eye out for him when walking the dog. Hope he is found soon.

Twooter · 22/11/2018 17:09

Bump. Hope there’s some good news soon.

OhioOhioOhio · 22/11/2018 18:03

Did his family think he had run away?

FindLiam · 22/11/2018 19:37

Still nothing :(
His family know nothing Ohio. He certainly didn’t dress for the weather or take a supplies etc in his bag.
There’s a new police appeal which I’ll link later.
@emummy, do you think most people in Banchory probably know about him now? We’ve been around there all day but everyone we asked already knew.

I think so FindLiam. My oldest children are at the academy and they certainly know about it. I think most people I know are looking out for him.

WinterSpiceOnIce · 22/11/2018 20:21

but why come from a city to small town Banchory?

to meet someone?

OhioOhioOhio · 22/11/2018 20:21

It must be just unbearable.

FindLiam · 22/11/2018 20:34

i know, his family and his friends are totally clueless. He has no known connection to Banchory except perhaps family walks etc.
So if he’s met up with someone, it’s a completely new person. If you know what I mean.

someone he met online maybe? i'm sure the police are all over this

OhioOhioOhio · 22/11/2018 21:20

Bump

Aurea · 22/11/2018 23:19

Does anyone know whether he had a phone with him? Money? What was in his backpack?

I'm in Banchory and there is a big police presence today and a huge lit sign at the entrance to the village.

Could it be drugs related? There are drugs in plentiful supply here, as with most Scottish towns, I guess.

What an awful time for the family.......

FestiveForestieraNoel · 22/11/2018 23:30

I don't think he brought his phone with him Aurea but I could be wrong.

Knitwit101 · 22/11/2018 23:35

Nothing useful to add but thinking of Liam and his family. I hope they hear some good news soon.

I am not speculating at all on what has happened to him or where he might have gone, I have no idea, but it makes me think how little we might know our children and teenagers. You think you know them, know what's going on in their lives, who is important to them, but sometimes we just haven't got a clue. It's scary. How easy it was when they were toddlers and we were involved in every detail of their lives.

DiaryofWimpyMum · 22/11/2018 23:37

I hope he is found safe and well soon. What a worry for his family!

Cheesecake53 · 23/11/2018 00:29

I dearly hope he is found safe and sound.

FindLiam · 23/11/2018 08:20

No, he didn’t have his phone with him, all CCTV in the bus was broken and given that Banchory isn’t a big place, there isn’t an abundance of CCTV near bus stops etc.

Still no new leads or sightings to report :(

TheQueef · 23/11/2018 08:23

Let's hope he had plenty of shelter and a safe night.

My thoughts are with his family, they must be beside themselves.

TheQueef · 23/11/2018 09:51

Early bump.
