Missing Boy - Aberdeenshire

Sharing this here as hoping to get Liam’s pic out as much as possible.
Liam is 16 years old.
He was last seen at around 12pm on Saturday 17 November 2018 in the Queens Road area of Aberdeen.
Liam is described as white, 6'4" and has short brown hair, slim build, wearing dark top, blue jeans and Nike Air Max trainers and carrying a North Face backpack.

Police are now focusing their search on Banchory.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1302 of 18 November.

Yes, unfortunately, a teenager leaving without their phone and without a coat in cold weather doesn't bode well. Poor boy.

This is really playing on my mind. That poor boy and his family.

I thought that about the phone. Let's hope it's something like he's had a disagreement with his mum, had the phone confiscated then stropped off to a mate's. Hoping so badly for an outcome like that.

Just seen this post today @FindLiam ...... but I'm in Aberdeenshire, I know the Banchory / Crathes area well and we're all following closely. Somehow it's all the more real when it's close to home & places you're familiar with.

As each day goes by, I pray there's news of some kind for his poor family. It must be such a difficult task for the police with so little to go on.

If you're family / close to his mum ..... please know there's so many strangers not too far away just hoping & praying he's found soon.

Thank you everyone. I am a family friend, and not just a someone “jumping on the bandwagon”.
His mum knows I’ve started this thread, I’ve sent her links etc.
It just means so much that everyone is sharing and looking and thinking of him

I hope somebody remembers seeing him, he must be quite distinctive being so tall. Thinking of his family and those close to him , hope he is found safe soon

Seems like he doesn't want to be "found". There's no suspicious involvement from anyone else. And he won't be thinking of letting the police know he's ok to let them use their resources elsewhere. I've got faith he's ok.

There seems to be a lot of focus on Scotland. Presumably noone thinks he may have got a train to London or somewhere after last sightings? I'm surprised this hasn't been on national TV.

The no phone thing..... has he had a recent upgrade and maybe has s second phone?

No coat......possible it was rolled up in his backpack. If he's taken other items in the backpack then it's likely he's packed supplies etc
