Sharing this here as hoping to get Liam’s pic out as much as possible.
Liam is 16 years old.
He was last seen at around 12pm on Saturday 17 November 2018 in the Queens Road area of Aberdeen.
Liam is described as white, 6'4" and has short brown hair, slim build, wearing dark top, blue jeans and Nike Air Max trainers and carrying a North Face backpack.

Police are now focusing their search on Banchory.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1302 of 18 November.

Yes, have seen 3 police vehicles this morning alone - for non-locals, that's more than I would usually see in a week. Fingers crossed for some news for his family.

Lisette1940 · 04/02/2019 15:16

I hope there is news soon. Conditions have not been easy for searching.

emummy · 04/02/2019 15:51

Have just seen an appeal about a missing man in Banchory who police are searching for, so the increased police presence may be for him

Thinking of Liam and his family Thanks

Crockof · 08/02/2019 21:11

Why isn't this national news, just in case he has traveled further afield. I'm so sorry to read this (I'm new to MN)

stayathomegardener · 08/02/2019 21:18

So sad. Thought of him today with a boy local to me missing.

Would a missing topic be good HQ? Be a shame for this thread to disappear in chat.

Hidingtonothing · 08/02/2019 21:21

That's a great idea Stay, might be worth emailing HQ or reporting your post for their attention to make sure they don't miss it x

stayathomegardener · 08/02/2019 21:26

@Hidingtonothing thanks for seconding.
Have done so.

Crockof · 08/02/2019 21:27

Not a very positive press release from the police. Still hoping for a happy outcome.
