Another house question - anyone have any ideas for prices of a driveway, big enough for 2 cars. TIA

Lots of variables.

Do you already have a drive and want to improve it? Or
Do you need a crossing point?
Do you want side by side or a long drive?
How do you want the surface - block, tarmac, gravel?
How much ground work needs doing?
Do any walls, trees etc need removing?

Some good info here.

It would be big enough for 2 cars side by side. Maybe not actually quite big enough. (It’s a house we’re looking at buying) it’s lawn at the moment and needs quite a bit digging out but no trees. Think would rather paving over tarmac...which is cheaper? Definitely not gravel.

Plus cost of dropped kerb to the council, if you’ll even get permission. Also some councils won’t give PP to tarmac over your front garden, has to be a % green in some places.

Sushi there’s already a dropped kerb so must have been a driveway before and the other houses have driveways.
