mid cycle bleeding driving me bananas

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I have had mid cycle bleeding on and off since the birth of my son 2 years ago. Some months I get nothing, some months (like this month) I get loads. I don't see how it can be ovulation bleeding tbh as I get it across 3-4 days at a time.

I've been to the GP about it several times. I've had two internal scans which showed nothing. I've been on time for all my smears which have come back clear. I have had STI tests - clear. GP is not concerned. But it is driving me up the wall. Does anyone else have this problem and do you know what causes it for you?!

I should also say, I'm not on any hormonal contraception and I never had this at any point before I had my son.

If your not against going on the pill then I would, it sorted the same problem out for me and I now very rarely get a period.

I'm massively against going on the pill to be honest, it absolutely fucks with my mental health and also makes me fat.

I'm not fussed about having a period, in fact I prefer having a period over not having one, but the mid cycle bleeding is enraging.

I had this after the birth of DC2 and before DC3 - I had similar internal scans and tests which came back with nothing and the GP wasn't worried and said it was one of those things. Some months was worse than others - sometimes it was like a mini-period, sometimes just spotting, sometimes nothing at all.

I haven't had it since DC3 was born and came to the conclusion it must have been something hormonal - I now get quite severe nausea one day mid-cycle instead, which I'm not entirely sure I prefer to the bleeding.

that sounds exactly the same mouse. So odd.
