4yo wants “the alligator song”....what alligator song?!

Since yesterday afternoon during the latest “you can choose any song to listen to if you eat your bloody dinner” session, he’s wanted “the alligator song”

It’s not on YouTube (it obviously probably is but isn’t an obvious children’s song and he hasn’t heard it on YouTube)
It’s not one he’s learnt at school
Not from the TV

I asked him where he heard it and he says the Alexa
So either from Radio 2 or Magic

He’s woken up asking for it and it is driving me mad! And he’s proper sad I can’t work this one out)

Any idea MN hive mind?!

And so on? You have to snap him in your arms in a hug when mr Alligator does. Used to be DD2’s favourite song of all time when she was that age....

Otherwise I don’t know any Alligator songs. Ask him to sing it to you?

I heard it once at a baby group and DD loved it so much. Never heard it any where else since.

DD would often use alligator and crocodile interchangeably.

Eventually we had to google the difference, apparently its to do with the width of the snout.

Another vote for Shotgun, my five years olds are obsessed!

It could be the Animal Song by Bounce Patrol on YouTube as it's alphabetic so starts with A is for Alligator.

If you listen to magic on alexa i'm going to go Shotgun - they play it alot
