Adult thumb sucking

Not really a taat but reading about side of the bed preference I sleep on the left because I suck my left thumb and need that on the outside. I'm 47 been married 21 years , any other adult thumb suckers?

Yeah, I broke the habit of a lifetime by wearing a scratchy woolen glove because I wanted my teeth fixed and it wasointless whilst still suckling my thumb. I had pushed my top teeth way out and my bottoms back. I spent 2 grand fixing them so I'm delighted to have broken the habit for that to happen.

31 and still do it sometimes. Have all my life. I’ve cut down a lot in the last couple of years though but not really on purpose, I’ve also stopped biting my nails so maybe I’ve finally outgrown my oral fixation!

I saw another thread on adult thumbsucking and wanted to add a message but the computer has foiled me, the correspondent said that he or she sucked their thumb and played with their belly button at the same time, I do this and did it a lot earlier in my life and my family would mock me saying that I looked like a pop star strumming a guitar and the thumb looked like a microphone, no dear readers I still am not a rock and roll singing star, oh yes I also have a theory on why the belly button is fiddled with while the thumbsucking goes on, it is all about a child in the womb learning to take nutrition via its mouth rather than the umbilical cord, and the foetus fiddles with the cord to try to get more food.
