Flight Radar geeks! What do you think's going on here then?

This Singapore Air Force plane left Madrid, almost landed at Almeria and then circled a few times out over the Med. Now seems to be heading back north.

I would guess some sort of minor technical issue with the plane. It went out and fuel dumped? Or at least stayed within easy return distance for? Maybe too big to land at Almeria safely, so had to circle while a decision was made about whatever it’s issue is and what to do, whether it was better to return or proceed.

Heading back into Madrid now.

That flight number has been a test flight over the past few weeks/days so maybe another test flight, go up, fly around a bit, go back.

Interesting! I thought it odd that it was a Singapore Air Force flight in Spain.
