4yo has chipped two teeth today at school

Ds(4) has chipped two teeth today, one a tiny corner and the other looks more like a straight line across the bottom has snapped off only a small amount but goes almost right across.
He said his teeth are sore when he ate a chocolate coin.
He's got a dentist appointment for 12 days time - he was due for a check up anyway.
Does he need to be seen sooner? I suppose there's not much they can do anyway?
I don't have the chips.
Planning to see how he is over next few days and if he's fine keep the appointment. If he hurts then get one sooner?

Ring the dentist and ask their advice.

I think it is best to get these things checked asap. DS chipped a tooth at school when he was 5. Our dentist fitted him in the same day to check whether it needed to be repaired.
