NEXT clothes - gone downhill!

Yes, that. Was in NEXT yesterday as it's one of my favourite shops. However the floor consisted of lots of stock arbitarily flung onto hangers and it looked so bright and gaudy ... badly made and CHEAP. What has happened? Quality appears to have been driven off a cliff top. Shame.

I don't think Next has been that highly regarded on mn for a while. I find their jeans fit me the best but I agree about the quality, I get maybe 8 months out of a pair before the knees or undercarriage start to wear away which is annoying - they use to last a lot longer.

The kids clothes are lovely but I wouldn't wear Next clothes if they were giving them away free.

Agreed, always loved next jeans. I have some from years ago still looking good. Ones I bought last year have holes in the crotch already.

I gave up years ago. When my 11 year old was about 3-7 I bought loads of stuff from there. Now it's just the odd thing. The quality and choice went downhill. The ladies wear is rubbish and nothing I'd buy. At one time I'd have bought loads of things. No longer.
