Something like this puffer jacket?

Really trying to replace a puffer jacket. Whiteis a bonus, but definitely not black, packable is a bonus, sleeves not puffy and had a strip of normal material down each side under the arms so doesn't make me look like the Michelin man (ie looks more fitted). Current version was bought in New Zealand

Willing to go for a well fitted vest that doesn't make me look like a lollipop! Not particularly cold where I am

Have you tried uniqlo ? Their puffers are definitely not Michelin man style!

Was, just about to say Uniqlo too - was looking at them online this morning for DD and there was an off white one, or other brighter colours too!

We don't have uniqlo here ... I will have a look online. Thanks for the heads up!

I have a slim fitting mountain warehouse shirt puffer jacket which is flattering and can be packed away. It was £70 but got it half price on offer.
It’s fairly warm although it is new, so haven’t had the chance to test it properly over the winter.

Short jacket! Not shirt!

Thanks mumberjack, I'll check them out too

Kathmandu has a lot of variety in styles of down filled jackets, have you looked at their website? they started to make one that has thin chambers and its about 1/4 of the bulk that their regular puffer types have, which is prolly what you got last time

I’ve been using the uniqlo down jacket for under a year and it’s got feather coming out in or two places and needs at least a couple of layers to feel really warm.
