Does this sound right?

Hope someone can help.

I want to have some false lashes put in but something more permanent than a night. I've had a look round and found someone who I thought lashes looked really good at a reasonable price but now I'm not so sure about this person. I asked about a patch test and was told she patch tests by putting a single lash on with the glue. Surely the whole point of a patch test is to make sure you don't have a reaction. But if I have a reaction it's going to be on my eye. Does this sound correct? I've hallways been told behind the ear or in the crease of your elbow.

i work in a salon that does russian lashes. we used to do patch tests on every new customer then we got a letter from the glue manufacturer that said patch testing wasnt required with that particular glue so we now ask the client if they want it and also have the letter available to show anyone. if they do then we do a blob of it behind the ear min of 24 hours before they want lashes applying
