I just wanted to come and jump on this thread to thank you all for the wonderful service you do.

I had a 1 year old with suspected meningitis, 3 attempts to take bloods and screaming screaming. You can imagine.

His symptoms improved and we were admitted overnight, the next day we had 2 play specialists and 2 nurses to take his bloods and not even a help.

I was so traumatised, it really felt like magic.

Art degree, art therapy phd. Struggled to get roles. Only short term contracts. Three years running funding got cut.

Work as a TA in a bullying school with toxic atmosphere and am praying for a get out clause but haven’t found one after 6 years
